The Ministry of Culture is organising Parakram Diwas-2026 from tomorrow in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, marking the 129th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The celebrations will take place at 13 other locations across the country associated with the life and legacy of freedom fighter Bose. It also honours his enduring legacy of courage, sacrifice and patriotism. The Ministry said the celebration will feature a cultural programme, exhibitions alongwith a theatrical performance by the National School of Drama.
It further said that visitors will have the opportunity to experience a rich blend of island cuisines and explore a display of traditional handicrafts of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The celebrations will continue till the 25th of this month.
