The Met Department has issued a warning of severe cold and snowfall in the higher regions of Uttarakhand today. Authorities have urged people to check the latest weather updates before travelling. All schools and Anganwadi centres in Nainital, Haridwar, and Udham Singh Nagar districts have been closed today due to adverse weather conditions. 

 

Meanwhile, the Met Department has also issued an orange alert for dense fog over the next three days in Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital, Champawat, Pauri, and Dehradun districts.
