Telangana Governor Shiva Pratap Shukla has emphasized that medicine is not just a profession, but a sacred duty to serve humanity. He said this while speaking at the Osmania Medical College’s 175th convocation ceremony in Hyderabad yesterday. Addressing the newly graduated doctors Mr Shukla said that medical professionals must combine knowledge and technical skills with compassion and empathy.

He urged doctors to serve the nation’s people with the spirit of “Seva Param Dharmam,” which means service is the highest duty. Governor Shukla praised Osmania Medical College as a prestigious institution that has produced dedicated and skilled doctors for many years. He appreciated the hard work and commitment shown by the graduates. The Governor distributed graduation certificates to all successful medical students and wished them a bright future ahead.
