External Affairs Ministry’s Fact Check Unit has debunked claims on social media that an Indian Oil Tanker was allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz after making payment in Chinese currency.

The Fact Check Unit has termed these claims as fake and has asked citizens to stay alert against such baseless claims on social media.
