The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region has approved the construction of Mangoldoi- Mazikuchi road in Assam. Having a length of fifteen kilometres and costing approximately 45.31 crore rupees, the project will be implemented under the North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme. The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region in a statement informed that the project will serve as a direct link between the Darrang and Udalguri District thereby reducing the distance between Mangaldoi and Bhergaon by 7.2 kilometers.
