In a surprise political development in Goa, Revolutionary Goans Party founder and president Manoj Parab today announced his decision to quit active politics and step down from the post of party chief.

The announcement was made during a press conference at the party headquarters in Panaji in the presence of senior leaders, including General Secretary Vishwesh Naik and Treasurer Ajay Kholkar.
