Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today announced that the Maharashtra government will develop the palanquin pilgrimage route between Gahininathgad shrine in Beed district and Pandharpur. Speaking at the 50th death anniversary of saint Wamanbhau Maharaj, he said the shrine has played a key role in spreading spiritual values across the region. The  Fadnavis also assured priority completion of the Paithan-Pandharpur palanquin route and confirmed that land has been secured in Pandharpur to provide better facilities for devotees of Gahininathgad.
