Maharashtra has set a new world record by installing 45,911 solar agriculture pumps under the ‘Magel Tyala Saur Krushipump’ scheme within a single month. The state power utility MSEDCL said that the achievement has been officially recognised by the Guinness World Records. A certificate presentation ceremony was held today at AURIC City grounds in Shendra MIDC in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
