Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today launched the state-wide “My Village, Healthy Village” campaign on the occasion of World Health Day, aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery in rural areas.
Our correspondent reports that the campaign seeks to transform rural healthcare by ensuring quality health services at the grassroots level and promoting a preventive healthcare approach. It will focus on sanitation, safe drinking water, nutrition, and control of communicable and non-communicable diseases. Special emphasis will also be laid on maternal and child health, mental health, and lifestyle-related ailments.
