Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla today met participants of the 37th Parliamentary Internship Programme 2025 in New Delhi. In a social media post, the Speaker said that he interacted with the participants from different countries. Mr Birla added that their enthusiasm towards India’s parliamentary traditions and democratic values is inspiring.
He said that they described the opportunity as a rich and meaningful experience. The programme is being organised by PRIDE, Lok Sabha Secretariat and is being conducted from the 10th of this month to the 2nd of next month. As many as 40 officials and public representatives from the Parliaments of 12 countries are participating in the programme.
