Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, today, discussed with officials on providing local cuisines of the region in Vande Bharat trains. Interacting with the officials in Rail Bhawan today, the Minister said that the initiative will enhance the passenger experience, reflecting the culture and tastes of the regions being traversed. The Minister also noted that after the introduction of a stringent system, fake identities creating new user IDs have come down to as low as 5 thousand from earlier one lakh daily on the IRCTC website.

He added that more than 3 crore fake accounts have been deactivated, and over 2 crore user IDs have either been temporarily suspended through the system. Mr Vaishnaw also directed officials to ensure that the ticketing system is easy and smooth for all travelers.
