The Life Insurance Corporation of India has denied false reports by The Washington Post alleging LIC of creating a roadmap for infusing its funds into Adani Group of Companies and making its investment decisions under the influence of external factors. The LIC reaffirmed that all investments are made with integrity and due diligence.

 

 

It termed allegations leveled by The Washington Post as false and baseless. The LIC also clarified that its decisions are taken independently as per Board approved policies and no other body has any role in LIC’s decision making process.
