In Ladakh, a state-of-the-art Catheterization Laboratory has been established at district SNM Hospital in Leh. With this, cardiac patients from Ladakh will not have to travel to other parts of the country for advance cardiac care. 

 

 

The remarkable milestone in advance healthcare and making accessible at the doorstep has been achieved as it has procured and installed under the National Health Mission (NHM).

 

 

The first ever life saving intervention in cardiology to the patients residing in High high-altitude areas of Ladakh has been providing much needed relief to the patients in reducing all their problems and challenges they faced while traveling to other parts of the country.

 

 

The first Angiography procedure of the Cath Lab was successfully performed on a 45-year-old patient with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD).
