The Kutch-Saurashtra Vibrant Gujarat Regional Summit has secured investment commitments worth 5.78 lakh crore rupees. Briefing the media today after a cabinet meeting, the senior cabinet Minister Jitubhai vaghani told that a total of 5,492 MoUs were signed during the summit. These projects are expected to generate over 6.26 lakh new employment opportunities across the state.
Providing a district-wise breakdown, the Minister highlighted that Kutch emerged as the frontrunner, attracting the highest investment of 1.25 lakh crore rupees through 458 projects. Bhavnagar secured the second position with MoUs worth 60,000 crore rupees, followed by Amreli with 36,000 crore rupees. Rajkot district recorded the highest number of individual projects, with 2,921 MoUs worth 23,000 crore rupees.
