In Kerala, the Nedumangadu Magistrate Court found former Kerala Transport Minister and present MLA Antony Raju guilty in an evidence tampering case. The case started from an incident that took place in 1990, when an Australian man was arrested at Thiruvananthapuram airport for allegedly smuggling drugs by concealing them in his undergarments. Antony Raju, who is a ruling Left Democratic Front MLA now, was a junior advocate at that time.
