Nepal’s President, Ramchandra Paudel, has called a session of both houses of the federal parliament for May 11. The meeting is scheduled for Monday at 2 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in Singha Durbar, following a recommendation from the Council of Ministers made during a meeting at Singha Durbar.
As per Article 93(1) of the Constitution of Nepal, the President convenes parliamentary sessions based on the Council of Ministers’ advice. An earlier session had been planned for April 30 but was postponed on the government’s recommendation.
