The tourism sector in Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed unprecedented growth after the abrogation of Article 370. Over two crore 11 lakh tourists visited the Union Territory last year while till June this year over one crore eight lakh tourists have visited there. This was informed by Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai in the Rajya Sabha during Question Hour.
He also said that Narendra Modi Government has zero-tolerance policy against terrorism and 28 terrorists have been neutralised recently. He informed that from 2004 to 2014, seven thousand two hundred 17 terror incidents took place as compared to two thousand two hundred from 2014 to till June this year.
