ISSF Junior World Cup to kick off in New Delhi today

The ISSF Junior World Cup kicked off in New Delhi today. The main event will start from tomorrow as the shooters will compete in the 50 meters rifle prone women junior and 50 meters rifle prone men junior competitions. A 69-member Indian shooting contingent, spearheaded by Paris 2024 Olympian Raiza Dhillon and Asian trap champion Sabeera Haris, is ready to compete at the ISSF Junior World Cup 2025.
 
 
 
The competition will be held at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range till the 2nd of next month. The event will feature shooting competitions in the Under-21 age category across rifle, pistol and shotgun disciplines. The New Delhi event will feature 208 shooters from 19 federations. This is the 11th edition of the Junior Shooting World Cup and the first to be held in India. Players from US, Italy, Czechia, Iran, Croatia, Great Britain, UAE, Slovakia, Qatar, Spain, and New Zealand, along with 40 Individual Neutral Athletes, are participating in the competition.
