With this win, Punjab Kings move to the second position in the points table. Chasing the target of 237 runs, Lucknow Super Giants made 199 for 7 in the stipulated 20 overs. For Lucknow Super Giants, Ayush Badoni with 74 was the top scorer, while Abdul Samad made 45 runs. For Punjab Kings, Arshdeep Singh scalped three wickets, Azmatullah Omarzai took two wickets, Marco Jansen and Yuzvendra Chahal claimed a wicket each. Earlier, Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and opted to bowl. Batting first, Punjab Kings posted a commanding total of 236 for five in the stipulated twenty overs. Prabhsimran Singh, who smashed a blistering 91, was the top scorer for Punjab Kings. He was declared Player of the Match.
