India’s exports of textiles and apparel, including handicrafts, have registered a 9.4 per cent growth in November this year as compared to the same month last year.
According to the Textiles Ministry, the growth of the sector stood at over 2 thousand 855 million US dollars in November this year, compared to 2 thousand 601 million US dollars in November 2024.
The Ministry further mentioned that several key segments recorded notable growth this year. Among which readymade garments stand at 11.3 per cent, man-made yarn, fabrics and made-ups registered more than 15 per cent growth, cotton yarn, fabrics, made-ups and handloom products display 4 per cent, while handicrafts show nearly 30 per cent.
The Ministry also noted that over 6 per cent growth has been seen for Jute products during the period January-November 2025.
