The Academy for Preservation of Rural Buddhist Heritage today inaugurated an International Conference in New Delhi focused on the preservation of rural Buddhist heritage.
Hosted by the Indian Trust for Rural Heritage and Development, the three-day event is expected to bring together national and international experts to address the challenges of conserving rural Buddhist sites and integrating heritage with sustainable development.
During the conference, participants will discuss ancient architectural traditions, tangible and intangible heritage resources, innovative conservation practices, and community-led development models.
The conference will serve as a platform to examine global challenges in preserving Buddhist heritage and explore ways to align heritage protection with rural development initiatives.
