Indian Army to showcase Operation Sindoor tableau on 77th Republic Day Parade

On the 77th Republic Day Parade, the Indian Army will showcase a tableau on Operation Sindoor, showcasing country’s victory and the jointness of the Tri-services displayed during this operation. Briefing the media in New Delhi today, Chief of Staff, Delhi Sub Area Major General Navraj Dhillon said that the Indian Army will feature the debut of a Battle Array Formation showcasing synchronised manoeuvres alongside tanks, missile systems, drones and armoured platforms.

He informed that Lieutenant General Bhavnish Kumar will head the parade for the fourth time. He said that around 6 thousand 50 military personnel will take part in the parade. Major General Dhillon added that the Bhairav Battalion, Shaktibaan regiment, will take part in the parade for the first time, along with Ladakh Scouts. Kites, Zanskar ponies and Bactrian camel also will also take part in the Republic Day parade for the first time.

Air Commodore Manish Sabharwal informed that the tableau on Operation Sindoor will feature the symbolic launch of a BrahMos by a Su-30, which destroyed one of the Pakistani airbases. It will showcase air defence elements, such as the S-400, which shot down a Pakistani air force asset at the longest range in the world. Air Commodore said that this is once again to highlight the resolve of the country that together if we fight, victory is inevitable.
