In Assam, the Indian Army organised an All Assam Marathon in Digboi today as part of Rongali Bihu celebrations and its ongoing youth outreach initiatives. The event was conducted by the Red Shield Gunners under the aegis of Spear Corps, in coordination with the Digboi Rongali Bihu Utsav Palan Samiti.

Over 200 participants, including men and women from Digboi and nearby areas, took part in the marathon. The Army said the initiative provided local youth with a platform to channel their energy into constructive activities, while also strengthening bonds of trust and promoting values of teamwork, resilience and national integration.
