A one-day workshop on Artificial Intelligence titled “IndiaAI-Digital India Workshop” was held at Chintan Bhawan, Gangtok, today.
Department of Information Technology, Government of Sikkim, in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India organized the workshop.
The programme was conducted as a pre-event workshop for the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled from 16th to 20th February in New Delhi.
The workshop aimed to bring policymakers, educators, students and technologists together to deliberate on the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence. The technical sessions featured experts from academia and industry who shared insights on Artificial Intelligence and its applications.
