The Indian Women’s Hockey Team concluded their Australia tour with a 1-0 win over the hosts in the fifth and final match at Perth Hockey Stadium today. Vice-captain Navneet Kaur scored the lone goal in the 21st minute, securing a morale-boosting victory.

The Indian team suffered four consecutive losses – two against Australia A and two against the senior team.

The tour also served as a testing ground for new strategies ahead of the FIH Hockey Pro League and next year’s World Cup.
