India U-23 coach Naushad Moosa names 29-member squad for June friendlies

India Under-23 men’s national football team head coach Naushad Moosa announced a 29-member squad yesterday for the upcoming international friendlies against Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic. The Blue Colts will take on Tajikistan Under-23 on the 18th of June and Kyrgyz Republic Under-23 on the 21st of June. The team will set camp in Kolkata on 1the st of June, where they will train before setting off for Dushanbe, Tajikistan on 16th of June. India will use these matches as part of their preparation for the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers later this year and the Asian Games, scheduled to be held in Japan in 2026.

 

Naushad Moosa was appointed as the head coach of the India U-23 men’s national team by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) on Tuesday.
