On the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor today, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar said that a year ago, Operation Sindoor demonstrated the nation’s resolve to defend itself against cross-border terrorism from Pakistan. In a social media post, the External Affairs Minister said that India ensured accountability for terrorist actions with its decisive action and underlined that such a serious threat to peace and security will be effectively countered. Dr Jaishankar added that India stands strong and determined to convey a message of zero tolerance for terrorism under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
