India Sets 265-Run Target Against Australia in Second ODI at Adelaide

In Men’s Cricket, India has set a target of 265 runs against Australia in the second ODI of the three-match series at Adelaide. Rohit Sharma scored 73 runs, and Shreyas Iyer hit a half-century. Hitman Rohit Sharma made his 59th ODI half-century with this; he has become the first Indian cricketer to score 1000 ODI runs against Australia in Australia, excluding World Cups. Australian bowler Adam Zampa took 4 wickets.

Earlier, Mitchell Marsh won the toss and invited India to bat first. This is a must-win game for the Shubman Gill-led Men in Blue, as a loss would mean that they would lose the series as well. Australia kicked off the three-match ODI series with a comfortable seven-wicket win over India in Perth.
