Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel today said that India is moving ambitiously towards becoming a developed nation over the next 25 years by placing healthcare at the heart of its journey.
Delivering the convocation address at the 14th Convocation Ceremony of the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in Puducherry, the Minister said, the Modi Government is making sustained efforts to realise the goal of universal health care. Highlighting the National Health Policy, Ms Anupriya Patel said the policy aims to bring a paradigm shift from sick care to wellness by focusing on preventive, promotive, curative, rehabilitative and palliative healthcare.
