India has dispatched a consignment of essential life-saving medicines to Shree Hindu Mandal Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, as humanitarian assistance, being transported onboard INS Trikand. In a social media post, the External Affairs Ministry reiterated the country’s commitment in supporting the Global South and the well-being of its diaspora communities abroad. The hospital was founded in 1919 by the Indian-origin community and served thousands of patients every year.
