India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange colour warning for dense to very dense fog over Uttar Pradesh for today.

The Met Department has forecast dense fog conditions at isolated places over parts of Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, and Bihar for the next two to three days. Similar conditions are likely to prevail over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and West Bengal till tomorrow.

The weather agency said that cold wave conditions are expected in East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha today.

The Met Department further predicted a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by about 2 degrees Celsius over northwest and central India forthe  next two days.
