The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh during the next 3 to 4 days. Heavy rainfall is also likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh during the next five days. IMD has advised fishermen to avoid venturing into Kerala, Karnataka coasts, Lakshadweep, some parts of west central Bay of Bengal and southwest Bay of Bengal during next three days. The National capital, Delhi experienced a fresh spell of rain during the day. The showers brought down temperatures and offered relief from the persistent humidity of the past few days.
