The India Meteorological Department has forecast heat wave conditions in isolated pockets over Rajasthan and Gujarat during the next 2-3 days. The weather agency predicted the similar conditions over Punjab, Haryana and West Madhya Pradesh during 16th to 18th of April. The IMD said that Kerala and Mahe are expected to witness hot and humid weather conditions tomorrow. According to the met department, heavy rainfall is expected over Odisha during the next two days along with Assam and Meghalaya during Wednesday and Friday this week. The weather body estimated scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds over Northeast and East India during next 5 days.
