IMD forecasts dense to very dense fog conditions to prevail in isolated pockets over Punjab till tomorrow

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense to very dense fog conditions to prevail in the morning and night hours in isolated pockets over Punjab till tomorrow. The weather agency also predicted dense Fog condition at isolated places over Bihar, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab today. The weather agency said that cold wave conditions are expected in Himachal Pradesh today.

The Met Department further predicted a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 2 to 4 degree celcius over Maharashtra during the next 3 days. Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR is in the very poor category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average Air Quality Index (AQI) of the National Capital was recorded at 398 as of 7 AM today.
