IMD Forecasts Cold Wave in Punjab, Fog in North India; Delhi-NCR Air Quality Remains Very Poor

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cold wave conditions over Punjab tomorrow. The Met Department also predicted fog conditions isolated pockets over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Himachal Pradesh and Odisha. The Weather agency also predicted heavy Rainfall, places over Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
 
The IMD said, squally weather with wind speeds reaching upto to 55 kmph will prevail along and off south Kerala coast and adjoining Lakshadweep area, over Comorin area, over south Bay of Bengal, along and off Tamil Nadu coast and over Andaman Sea.
 
Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR continues to remain very poor quality. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average Air Quality Index (AQI) of the region was recorded at 380 as of 7 pm today.
