The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that cold wave conditions will prevail in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand for the next two days. It said, night temperatures will be below normal by about 2 to 4° Celsius over south Haryana and isolated plains of northwest India and North Madhya Maharashtra during the next three to four days.
IMD has forecast for fall in minimum temperature by 2 to 3° Celsius over the Northeastern part of the country during the next 2 to 3 days. Light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Mahe today.
