The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heatwave conditions over northwest and central parts of the country during next three days and abate thereafter. According to IMD, Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi will experience heat waves conditions till tomorrow.

The weather agency has predicted Hot and humid weather conditions in isolated pockets over Odisha tomorrow and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal till wednesday. It also said that Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will likely experience warm night conditions at isolated pockets.

The met department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya tomorrow. The weather body predicted thunderstorm activity over East India during next one week.
