IFFI 56 Set for Grand Closing Tonight

The 56th edition of International Film Festival of India is all set for the closing ceremony tonight. The festival had a grand opening parade on 20th November and today, 28th of November is the penultimate day.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnav and Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Dr L Murugan will be attending the grand ceremony along with Festival Director Shekhar Kapoor and a host of dignitaries are also expected to join the mega event.

The coveted Golden Peacock Award the Silver Peacock Award and the ICFT- UNESCO Gandhi Medal will be given to the films contending for them. IFFI 2025 saw over 240 films from 81 countries being screened with Japan as the Country of Focus, Spain as partner country and Australia being the spotlight country.
