Information and Broadcasting Secretary Sanjay Jaju today said that the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) has not only provided opportunity to creators but also taken the Indian flag to the world. He said this while addressing the IFFI Closing Ceremony at Panaji, Goa.

 

Mr Jaju said that this edition has been the most memorable film festival, both, qualitatively and quantitatively. He noted that WAVES Film Bazaar brought record investment while the AI Hackathon and Creative Minds of Tomorrow events pushed youth and technology into the forefront. 

 

Talking about the use of AI in filmmaking, Mr Jaju called it a major disruptor and urged creators to embrace technology while also maintaining guardrails to prevent foulplay.
