In Uttarakhand, the portals of Hemkund Sahib, situated in Chamoli district, will open tomorrow for devotees. Meanwhile, the first batch of pilgrims, led by the Panj Pyaras, departed from Govindghat for Ghangaria today. More than five thousand devotees are part of the pilgrimage group. Manager of the Govindghat Gurudwara Committee, Seva Singh, said that the pilgrims will stay tonight at the Gurudwara in Ghangaria. Thereafter, the portals of Hemkund Sahib will be opened for devotees tomorrow with the first Ardas of this year.
