Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda today stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fulfilling the dream that Sardar Patel had for the future of India after the merger of the Indian states. Mr. Nadda affirmed that by abolishing Article 370 of the Constitution, the Prime Minister has truly united the country.
The Minister was addressing the Sardar gatha programme organised as part of Sardar@150 Ekta Padyatra in Vadodara. The Karamsad to Kevadiya National Padyatra entered Vadodara city today on the fourth day.
Mr. Nadda highlighted Sardar Patel’s extraordinary achievement of unifying 562 princely states in just two years. The Minister also reminded the youth that Sardar Patel’s life was dedicated to the search for truth and nationalism.
Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya emphasized that this event is not just a foot march, but an ideological journey that spreads the message of unity. Dr. Mandaviya informed that over 1,500 one-day padyatras were organized nationwide. During the event, sportsmen were also honored. Union Minister Piyush Goyal also took part in the yatra today.
