The Haryana government today approved the revision of the ex gratia amount to be given to the families of battle casualties of armed forces personnel and Central Armed Police Forces personnel. The ex gratia amount has been increased from 50 lakh to 1 crore rupees. The government also approved an increase in the monthly pension of Matribhasha Satyagrahis of the Hindi Aandolan-1957 from 15,000 to 20,000 rupees and raised the maximum limit of Death-cum-Retirement Gratuity for state employees by 25 percent, from 20 lakh to 25 lakh rupees. Aadhaar authentication services were also approved for candidates appearing in Group A and B exams conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC).
