More than 104 crore rupees have been returned to original account holders in Gujarat under the nationwide financial awareness campaign Aapki Punji Aapka Adhikar. A total of 26,874 claims were successfully processed in the state till the end of last month, ensuring that the hard-earned savings of common families reach their rightful owners.

In Gujarat alone, unclaimed assets worth approximately 2 thousand 836 crore rupees are lying with public sector banks, while insurance companies hold nearly 235 crore rupees. This special drive, which ran from October to December 2025, utilised digital exhibitions and helpdesks to assist citizens in identifying and claiming their dormant financial assets.
