Gujarat: New rail conncection between border district of Kutch and national capital

A new rail service connecting the border district of Kutch with Rajasthan and the national capital Delhi is set to begin soon. Following a long-pending demand, Western Railway has completed preparations to launch the new train service. Our correspondent reports that Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will flag off the train on Friday. According to official sources of Western Railway, the train will originate from Bhuj and travel via Jalore, Bhildi and Pali in Rajasthan before reaching Delhi. The train is scheduled to depart from Bhuj at 11 a.m. and will reach Delhi around the same time the following day.
The introduction of this service is expected to reduce passenger load on the existing Bhuj-Bareilly and Bhuj-Delhi Sarai Rohilla trains. It will also provide improved rail connectivity from Kutch to several major cities in Rajasthan as well as the national capital.
