Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma today inaugurated the Telangana Rising Global Summit at the Bharat Future City near Hyderabad this afternoon. The governor in his inaugural address has set the tone with a call for Telangana to emerge as a three 3 trillion-dollar economy by 2047 under the “Telangana Rising” banner. He described the present government as stable and transparent, leading in innovations and committed to rapid progress. He underscored the ongoing massive infrastructure expansion like airports, railways, roads and stressed that priority was being accorded to every sector to ensure broad-based growth.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said Telangana’s future aspirations must be rooted in the same spirit that guided India’s founding fathers.
Union Coal Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy said all states should play a meaningful role in achieving the national goal of Vikasit Bharat by 2047.
The summit will witness release of the Telangana Rising 2047 vision document tomorrow at the end of the summit.
