Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has virtually launched the web portal for the Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration 2025 today. Officials from various Ministries and Departments of Government, Principal Secretaries and District Collectors from all States and Union Territories attended the launch ceremony. The web portal www.pmawards.gov.in will accept submission of nominations till 15th of the next month. The Ministry said that a total of 16 awards will be given this year and will consist of a trophy, scroll, and incentive of 20 lakh rupees. The period of consideration for Category-I is from 1st of April in 2022 to 30th of September of 2025 and between 1st April in 2023 to 30th of September this year for Categories II and III.
