Government has debunked a video circulating on social media claiming that Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is promoting an investment platform promising easy monetary benefits. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) said that the video is fake and has been digitally manipulated using AI technology. The Unit added that no such investment scheme or platform has been promoted by the Finance Minister. The Government has urged citizens to always verify such claims through official sources. PIB further advised the citizens to avoid clicking on suspicious links or sharing personal or financial information online, as they could be phishing attempts.
