The government today termed as fake an order circulating on social media purportedly issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, claiming that petrol and diesel prices have been increased. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) clarified that no such order has been issued by the government. The Government has also asked the citizens to always verify information from official sources before trusting and forwarding them.
