The Government has refuted an advertisement circulating on social media that claims to offer a loan of ₹3 lakh under the Prime Minister Loan Scheme. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has said that the claim is fake and noted that there is no such advertisement or scheme being endorsed by the Government. PIB has urged the citizens to stay vigilant and advised them to rely only on official websites for any such government schemes.
