Former President Ramnath Kovind launched the Responsible Nations Index (RNI) in New Delhi today. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kovind said that RNI is an important index which focuses on promoting responsible behaviour of countries towards humanity. Mr Kovind also underlined the importance of ethical governance, inclusive development and moral responsibility in shaping a sustainable national and global future.

 

The Responsible Nations Index offers a pioneering global framework to assess nations not merely by economic strength or geopolitical influence but by their responsibility towards citizens, the environment and the intellectual community. The RNI is a global evaluative framework developed by the World Intellectual Foundation in academic collaboration with the Jawaharlal Nehru University.
